Elisa Carneiro was born in 1987, live and work in
Brasília (Brazil), is an actress and clown degree in Dramatic Arts in
University of Brasília – UnB. Started doing theatre in 2002 of Cia. Of Ilusion,
where she was directed by Alberto Bruno, Humberto Pedrancini and Antônio Fábio,
and had the opportunity to work with texts like Auto da Barca do Inferno, of Gil Vicente, O Futuro está nos Ovos, of Eugène
Ionesco; Húmulos, O Mudo; Aurora da Minha Vida, of Naum Alves de Souza, etc.
In 2007 joined the Cia. Art and Dream, where set up
the play Noite na Taverna, theatral
adaptation of Álvares de Azevedo’ text, and another play, Violeta. In 2008 won the best actress award at the SESC Short Scene Festival Show, and 2nd
place with the short scene Empty Bag
don’t Keeps Standing. Still in 2008 works in Hamleto, adaptation of Hamlet of Shakespeare, directed by Hugo
Rodas, inside the Award SESC Theater Candango. In 2009 participated of the 1st Dulcina
Short Scene Show and won the 1st place with the scene Claro!, of David Ives. In 2011, also with Claro!, ranked between the top three short scene at the Festival of
Brief Scenes of Curitiba, organized by the local group Cia. Senhas.
In 2010 created the group Teatro Funil (Theater
Hopper) with two more actors of Brasília,
Luiz Felipe Ferreira and Fernando Martins, where developed
a more focused research about the text and the word. With Theater Hopper worked
on Ensaios Sobre a Solidão, of
Vicente Pereira and A Lição, of Eugène
Ionesco, that was selected for the Award SESC Theater Candango.
